Job summary

Kenco Logistics is seeking a Safety Supervisor to ensure compliance with laws and safety programs across the facility. You will supervise PIT training, PPE programs, and drive safety initiatives with Operations.

The role emphasizes audits, investigations, and continuous safety improvements within a warehouse/distribution environment. Ideal candidates have a degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience, strong leadership, and familiarity with OSHA standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in management, occupational health and safety, human resources or engineering, or 2–5 years in logistics/manufacturing management.
• Minimum six months supervisory experience in safety leadership.
• Experience in warehousing, distribution, or related fields preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHA, DOT, and state/federal safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and facilitate safety training programs for staff and trainers.
• Conduct safety audits of fire equipment, dock conditions, housekeeping, racks, materials, and electrical systems.
• Partner with Operations to promote safety initiatives and inspect incident causes.
• Investigate accidents, perform root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain site safety policies, procedures, and quality management system documents.
• Administer internal audits and training to ensure compliance with quality standards.
