Job summary

Kenco Group in Mississippi is seeking a Safety Supervisor to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local safety laws and Kenco safety programs. You will supervise Powered Industrial Truck training and PPE programs and lead up to two trainers.

You will develop and facilitate safety trainings, conduct audits, investigate accidents, and partner with operations to drive safety improvements while maintaining policies and the quality management system.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in management, occupational health and safety, human resources, or engineering.
• Minimum six months supervisory experience in safety leadership.
• Experience in warehousing or manufacturing safety.
• Knowledge of OSHA, DOT, and related safety regulations.
• Strong analytical and investigation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and facilitate safety training programs.
• Conduct safety audits of fire equipment, dock, housekeeping, rack, material and electrical conditions.
• Partner with Operations to build support for safety initiatives.
• Assist investigations into accidents and perform root cause analysis.
• Maintain site policies, procedures, and quality management system documentation.
