Job summary

Rural King is seeking a Receiving Associate to efficiently load and unload shipments, stock displays, and ensure accurate merchandising of apparel and inventory in our stores. You will follow SOPs and maintain clean, organized work areas while supporting daily store operations.

The role requires basic computer skills, the ability to lift up to 30 pounds, and a proactive, customer-focused approach. Prior receiving experience and a willingness to learn are essential for success at Rural King.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of receiving experience or equivalent combination of experience and education.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with flexibility and efficiency.
• Proven track record of accuracy and meeting quality standards.
• Ability to work independently without supervision.
• Comfort navigating computer systems to assist customers or manage activities.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload shipments; prepare merchandise for storage or display.
• Follow SOPs for receiving and merchandising apparel.
• Use scan guns and software to document receipts accurately.
• Maintain thorough records and oversee inventory accuracy.
• Support store operations with transfers, shipping, and receiving.
