Job summary

Rural King is seeking a Receiving Associate to efficiently load and unload shipments, prepare merchandise, and stock the sales floor. You will follow SOPs for receiving, ensure accurate merchandising of apparel, and manage stock levels while using scan guns and inventory software.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of receiving experience or equivalent combination of experience and education.
• Ability to interact with the team in a fast-paced environment, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful, and efficient.
• Proven track record of consistently producing error-free work and meeting quality standards.
• Ability to work independently without supervision.
• Comfortable navigating computer systems and software to assist customers or manage activities.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload shipments and divide them for storage or movement to the sales area.
• Prepare merchandise, set up displays, and stock shelves with products.
• Follow SOPs for receiving and processing apparel; ensure accurate merchandising and stock levels.
• Use scan guns and software to document receipts accurately.
• Monitor daily shortages and report discrepancies.
• Maintain records by filing receiving paperwork daily.
• Assist in inventory management and store-to-store transfers.
• Support management with merchandise tracking and orderly operations.
