Job summary

Rural King is hiring a Receiving Associate to efficiently load/unload shipments, prepare items for display, and ensure stock accuracy. You’ll follow SOPs, use scan guns, and support inventory and distribution activities across the store and distribution channels.

Ideal candidates bring at least 1 year of receiving experience, adapt quickly in a busy environment, and can operate basic warehouse equipment while maintaining safety and accuracy in all tasks.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of receiving experience or equivalent combination of experience and education.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while staying flexible and proactive.
• Proven track record of accurate, error-free work and quality standards.
• Able to work independently without supervision.
• Comfort navigating computer systems and software to assist customers or manage activities.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload shipments and prepare merchandise for storage or sale.
• Follow SOPs for receiving and processing apparel.
• Recordkeeping of receiving paperwork and inventory transactions.
• Assist with store-to-store transfers, shipping, and receiving workflows.
• Support inventory management on the sales floor during peak periods.
• Collaborate with the receiving team on daily operations and safety practices.
• Organize products for efficient distribution and proper tagging.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and general office equipment as needed.
