Job summary

Rural King is seeking a Receiving Associate to efficiently load and unload shipments, prepare merchandise for sale, and ensure accurate stocking and display setup. You will follow SOPs for receiving, manage apparel merchandising, and help maintain optimal stock levels across the store and distribution center.

You will use scan guns and computer systems to document receipts, support inventory accuracy, and assist with store-to-store transfers, vendor price tags, and overall backroom organization.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of receiving experience or equivalent.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Capable of independent work when needed.
• Proficient with computer systems for receiving documentation.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload shipments and prepare merchandise for storage or sale.
• Follow SOPs for receiving and processing apparel.
• Maintain accurate receiving records and documentation.
• Use scan guns and software to document receipts.
• Assist in inventory management and backroom organization.
• Support store-to-store transfers and UPS exchanges.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and follow safety guidelines.
