Job summary

Rural King is hiring a Receiving Associate to efficiently load and unload shipments, prepare merchandise, and ensure accurate stocking. You will follow SOPs and use barcode scanners to document receipts and manage inventory.

The role requires at least 1 year of receiving experience, comfort with computers, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while assisting other departments as needed.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of receiving experience or equivalent combination of experience and education.
• Ability to interact with the team in a fast-paced environment, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful, and efficient.
• Proven track record of consistently producing error-free work and meeting quality standards.
• Ability to work independently without supervision.
• Comfortable navigating computer systems and software to assist customers or manage activities.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload shipments; split for storage or movement to the sales area.
• Unpack and prepare merchandise, set up displays, stock shelves, and check inventory.
• Follow SOPs for receiving and processing apparel within the store; maintain accurate merchandising and stock levels.
• Operate scan guns and computer-based software for receipt documentation.
• Maintain records and assist in cross-training for flexibility across departments.
• Collaborate with the receiving team to ensure smooth daily operations.
