Job summary

Rural King is seeking a Receiving Associate to efficiently load and unload shipments, prepare merchandise for the sales floor, and maintain stock levels across departments. The role emphasizes accuracy, timely processing, and adherence to SOPs while supporting inventory and merchandising tasks.

Ideal candidates will have at least 1 year of receiving experience, be comfortable with computer systems, and work collaboratively in a fast-paced store environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of receiving experience or equivalent.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly.
• Proven accuracy in completing tasks with minimal supervision.
• Comfort with computer systems to assist customers or manage activities.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload shipments; sort for storage or movement to sales floor.
• Ensure items are in stock, displayed properly, and merchandised correctly.
• Process apparel according to SOPs and maintain inventory levels.
• Recordkeeping of receiving paperwork and vendor price tags.
• Support store-to-store transfers and UPS shipments; assist inventory on the sales floor.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and organization consistent with Rural King's standards.
