Job summary

Floor & Decor is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to direct daily warehouse operations across a store network in San Diego. You will supervise warehouse specialists, order pickers, and forklift operators, coordinating with Receiving and Inventory teams to maintain accurate records and on-time shipments.

The role emphasizes safety, training, and process adherence, with a focus on efficient storage, equipment maintenance, and cross-functional collaboration to support store needs and peak season

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of supervisory experience in a warehouse or distribution center.
• Excellent interpersonal, team building, delegating and follow-up skills.
• Ability to work with and maintain effective relationships with other departments.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Able to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Strong computer skills in Windows-based systems.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily scheduling of warehouse personnel to ensure adequate staffing for shipping and receiving.
• Direct day-to-day warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, maintenance, and inventory control.
• Oversee storage, inventory staging, and purchases related to Storage Buy transactions.
• Maintain warehouse equipment with preventive maintenance programs and coordinate repairs.
• Ensure safety programs and compliance with OSHA regulations in the workspace.
• Train associates and enforce standard operating procedures.
• Handle employee inquiries and resolve issues to sustain productivity.
• Coordinate with other departments for efficient warehouse operations.
• Prepare activity reports and manage data flow from Receiving to Inventory Control.
