Job summary

FedEx Logistics in East Point, GA seeks a Distribution Operations Supervisor to direct continuous improvement and best practices across Air & Ocean, FTZ, and cross-border distribution. You will manage a team of 1–15, implement SOPs, coordinate with carriers, and uphold safety and service levels.

Experience in warehousing, shipping, and international freight is required, with leadership background and strong knowledge of safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 year associates or college degree preferred/equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience in Distribution, Warehousing, Shipping, or International Freight Forwarding/Transportation.
• Strong knowledge of International and Domestic Distribution operations.
• At least 1 year in a leadership role.
• Able to lift 30 lbs and operate equipment safely.
• Knowledge of WMS-EDI and MHEs.
• Certifications for MHE, TSA CCSF and DG regulations.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and control input, movement, and output of distribution operations.
• Direct 1–15 staff with daily oversight and training.
• Implement SOPs and ensure adherence across the facility.
• Maintain inventory, reports, payroll and performance records.
• Ensure safety compliance with OSHA, DOT and other regulations.
• Communicate issues to management promptly and coordinate with carriers.
• Optimize costs and efficiency of equipment, utilities and supplies.
