Job summary

FedEx Freight, Inc. is seeking a loading supervisor to lead and develop the team, ensuring shipments move on time and damage-free. You will supervise pre-shifts, coordinate daily schedules and focus on safety, quality and customer satisfaction.

The role requires strong communication skills, knowledge of DOT rules and OSHA basics, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dock environment. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Must possess high school diploma or equivalent.
• Good written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Internet.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, educate and develop company employees focusing on retention and growth.
• Supervise and direct employee work with a focus on quality, customer deliverables and safety performance.
• Plan daily manpower needs and set schedules to ensure customers' freight is delivered and picked-up timely and damage free.
• Communicate job assignments coordinating with all employees ensuring direction is clear and concise.
• Monitor service freight and ensure cut time compliance.
