Job summary

Nordstrom is seeking an Operations Manager to lead a ~20-person warehouse team and align daily work with safety, quality, and performance objectives. The role includes budgeting, coaching, and driving continuous improvement while ensuring the customer promise is fulfilled.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in warehouse management, strong KPI knowledge, and hands-on experience with warehouse software. This full-time position offers a competitive salary and benefits, with a Saturday–Monday 6am–6pm

Qualifications

• 5+ years of warehouse management experience.
• Proven ability to identify and implement CI actions that improve cost, service, and quality.
• Demonstrated ability to develop others and grow leadership competencies in direct reports.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse KPIs (Key Performance Indicators).
• Hands-on experience with warehouse management software and databases.
• Ability to analyze data and act on improvement opportunities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the business strategy and drive results for safety, quality, and performance.
• Lead, develop, and grow the performance of a team of about 20 employees.
• Recruiting, selecting, onboarding, and training resources.
• Coach, counsel, and discipline warehouse associates to drive performance.
• Attend educational workshops and build professional networks to grow knowledge.
• Own process improvement through problem-solving, project management, and CI methodologies.
• Meet warehouse financial standards by budgeting, monitoring expenditures, and implementing corrective actions.
• Drive KPI metrics as well as 4DX and facility performance scorecards.
