Job summary

POOLCORP invites high-potential candidates to join the Management in Training - Operations (MIT) program at our California distribution centers. This entry‑level, hands‑on path trains you across Operations, Purchasing and leadership in a busy warehouse.

You will receive six months of guided learning, classroom sessions and real responsibilities to prepare you for long‑term operations management. Training is on‑site with company‑paid relocation after completion in May.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree with minimum 2.5 GPA.
• Leadership or problem solving experience in a role or internship.
• Desire to work in a distribution warehouse environment.
• Willingness to relocate during/after the program at company expense.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.
• Ability to lift products up to 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Receive hands-on training and perform duties in every area of the distribution center including Operations, Management, and Purchasing.
• Observe experienced employees to learn methods, procedures, and performance standards for a successful sales center.
• Shadow contractors/builders, service/maintenance, and retail store customers to learn their aspect of the swimming pool, irrigation and landscaping business.
• Participate in classroom training sessions at the EDGEucation Center in Plano, Texas.
• Give comprehensive presentation to senior management upon program completion.
• Other duties and special projects as assigned.
