Job summary

POOLCORP invites applicants for the Management in Training - Operations (MIT) program, a hands-on, six-month on-site training in our distribution warehouse. You will gain exposure to Operations, Purchasing, and leadership across the pool supply and landscape distribution sectors.

Graduates may apply for Operations Supervisor or Manager roles nationwide after completing the program. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree with a 2.5 GPA, be willing to relocate (company support),

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Associate’s degree in Industrial Distribution, Supply Chain Management, Management, Operations or related discipline with a minimum 2.5 GPA.
• Experience in a leadership or problem-solving role is preferred.
• Willingness to relocate during and after the program (company expense).
• Ability to travel 25% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Receive hands-on training in Operations, Management, and Purchasing within the distribution center.
• Observe experienced staff to learn methods, procedures, and performance standards.
• Shadow contractors, service/maintenance, and store customers to learn the pool, irrigation, and landscaping business.
• Participate in classroom training at EDGEucation Center in Plano, TX.
