Job summary

POOLCORP in Palm Springs, CA is offering a Management in Training - Operations (MIT) program. This entry-level role provides hands-on training across distribution center areas and a 6-month guided learning path that leads to supervisory roles nationwide.

Upon completion, graduates may pursue Operations Supervisor or Manager roles with relocation assistance. The program starts onsite in December 2026 with ongoing classroom and field training and a final presentation to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate's degree with a minimum 2.5 GPA.
• Leadership experience or demonstrated problem solving in relevant roles.
• Willingness to relocate during and after the program (company expense).
• Ability to travel 25% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Receive hands-on training in all distribution center areas including operations, management and purchasing.
• Observe experienced staff to learn methods, procedures and performance standards.
• Shadow contractors, service providers and store customers to learn business aspects.
• Attend classroom training on operations, leadership, finance and systems at EDGEucation Center.
• Deliver a comprehensive presentation to senior management after the program.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
