Job summary

POOLCORP is seeking a Management in Training - Operations (MIT) candidate for an entry-level, hands-on program in our distribution warehouse. You’ll receive six months of guidance to learn swimming pool supply, irrigation and landscape distribution, with opportunities nationwide after completion.

Training is on-site at multiple locations; relocation is required after training with company assistance. The program develops operations leadership and prepares for future supervisor roles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate’s degree in Industrial Distribution, Supply Chain Management, Management or Operations with 2.5 GPA.
• Leadership and/or problem-solving experience in distribution or related fields.
• Willingness to relocate during/after the program; travel up to 25%.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and inventory systems beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Receive hands-on training across Operations, Management and Purchasing.
• Observe experienced staff to learn methods, standards and performance.
• Shadow contractors, service teams and retail customers to understand the business.
• Deliver final MIT project presentation to senior management after 6 months.
