Job summary

Kenco Logistics is seeking a Distribution Center General Manager to lead site operations, safety, and performance. You will direct policies, KPIs, and financial results while applying the Kenco Operating System (KOS/Shingo) to maximize efficiency and profitability.

The role requires strong leadership across salaried and hourly teams, experience with warehouse management systems, and a proven track record in driving continuous improvement and Lean initiatives such as 5S and Kaizen.

Qualifications

Bachelor degree in Logistics or Business field.
7+ years of progressive experience in a distribution center or warehouse.
Proven people leadership with ability to develop teams and manage performance.
Experience with labor/workforce management systems (SAP, Red Prairie, High Jump).
Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt preferred.
Strong computer skills: Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.

Responsibilities

Lead site management and personnel to comply with SOPs and policies.
Maintain safety, operations, quality, financial, legal, and regulatory functions.
Develop long-term planning and strategic initiatives for site success.
Own KPIs, BI/IM plans, efficiency programs, and P&L for the site.
Foster customer relations and cross-functional collaboration.
Coach and mentor site management to sustain lean culture and continuous improvement.
