Brimar Industries, LLC. in Garfield, NJ is seeking a Warehouse Manager to oversee daily warehouse operations, shipping, receiving, and inventory control. The role requires strong leadership to manage staff, improve processes, and ensure accurate order fulfillment.

You will drive safety, coordinate with Purchasing, Customer Service, and Transportation, monitor KPIs, and implement continuous improvement initiatives to reduce costs and boost efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 5+ years warehouse or logistics experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory/leadership role.
• Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume warehouse.
• Proficient in warehouse management systems (WMS) and basic computer skills (Excel, email, inventory software).
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations.

Responsabilités

• Supervise and coordinate activities of warehouse personnel (shipping clerks, pickers, packers, receiving and inventory control staff).
• Monitor workflow, assign daily tasks, and ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and audits.
• Ensure safe and efficient operation of all warehouse equipment.
• Enforce safety protocols and OSHA/company compliance.
• Oversee receiving and shipping processes to meet customer expectations and deadlines.
• Train, evaluate, and coach warehouse staff to promote a high-performance team.
• Monitor KPIs and operational metrics (pick accuracy, fulfillment speed, safety incidents).
• Collaborate with Purchasing, Customer Service, Transportation to optimize supply chain.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies and operational issues.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives for processes, space utilization, and cost reduction.
