Job summary

Brimar Inc. in Garfield, NJ is seeking a full-time Shipping/Receiving Clerk for our local warehouse. The role involves pulling, packing, receiving, shipping, and tracking orders, with emphasis on accuracy and timely processing.

You'll unload trucks, stock receivables, and communicate with vendors and drivers. This position requires physical ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for long periods, with a team-oriented yet independent work style.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Must be able to bend, stoop, reach constantly.
• A strong sense of urgency and time organization is must.
• The ability to work independently and within a team.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Pulls and packs products to fulfill customer orders and ensures correct items are included and undamaged before shipment.
• Receives and ships packages in and out of the warehouse.
• Unloads trucks and deliveries and sorts and stocks receivables.
• Tracks, traces, and updates the status of incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Maintains an accurate log sheet of daily moves, scans inventory, and counts accurately.
• Engages with vendors and drivers with a positive attitude.
