Job summary

Responsibilities include supervising staff, coordinating receipts and dispatch, and maintaining accuracy in inventory and paperwork. The role requires a high school diploma or GED and at least five years of warehousing or logistics experience, plus forklift certification and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; typically 5+ years warehousing or related logistics experience.
• Forklift certification typically required within 3–6 months of hire; valid state driver's license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers at all times.
• Lead staff and provide work direction. Train employees in all operational areas.
• Prioritize and assign work and provide work direction.
• Perform forklift operations, including heavy and oversized pieces.
• Coordinate receipts, storage and distribution of materials within the area; sort and place materials on racks/bins.
• Operate hand tools to close/open bales and build/tear down crates or containers.
• Complete or verify forms, documents, labels to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Oversee warehouse maintenance tasks and address operational concerns.
• Prepare and assemble orders, pick and count material, move and load materials between operations or trucks.
