Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate activities of warehouse personnel (shipping clerks, pickers, packers, receiving and inventory control staff).
• Monitor workflow, assign daily tasks, and ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and audits.
• Ensure safe and efficient operation of all warehouse equipment.
• Enforce safety protocols and OSHA/company compliance.
• Oversee receiving and shipping processes to meet customer expectations and deadlines.
• Train, evaluate, and coach warehouse staff to promote a high-performance team.
• Monitor KPIs and operational metrics (pick accuracy, fulfillment speed, safety incidents).
• Collaborate with Purchasing, Customer Service, Transportation to optimize supply chain.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies and operational issues.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives for processes, space utilization, and cost reduction.

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Warehouse/Shipping Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our warehouse in Garfield, NJ. This role is responsible for ensuring the efficient fulfillment of orders, as well as receipt and storage of a wide range of goods. Primarily in a temperature-controlled warehouse environment with some exposure to temperature changes, noise, and movement. May require flexible scheduling, including weekends or overtime during peak seasons.
