Job summary

Floor & Decor in Minnesota is hiring a Warehouse Supervisor to direct store warehouse operations, supervise warehouse specialists, order pickers and forklift operators, and support daily freight scheduling.

You will schedule staff, oversee shipping and receiving, maintain inventory, safety programs, and ensure procedures are followed. Strong supervisory, communication, and computer skills are required, with the ability to work extended hours during peak seasons.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of supervisory experience in warehouse or distribution.
• Excellent interpersonal, team building, delegating and follow-up skills.
• Ability to work with other departments and communicate effectively.
• Competent in basic math and Windows-based systems.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Available to work extended hours, especially during peak seasons.

Responsibilities

• Schedule warehouse personnel to ensure proper staffing for shipping/receiving.
• Direct day-to-day warehouse activities: shipping, receiving, inventory control.
• Oversee Storage Buy transactions, receiving errors, and product staging.
• Maintain warehouse equipment and safety programs; ensure safe equipment use.
• Enforce SOPs and manage progressive discipline as needed.
• Coordinate cross-department workflows for efficient operations.
• Prepare activity reports and resolve shipping discrepancies.
