Job summary

Floor & Decor in Maple Grove is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to direct daily warehouse operations and supervise warehouse specialists, order pickers and forklift operators. You will support the Receiving Supervisor in managing the daily freight schedule to meet customer and inventory needs.

The role requires 1–3 years of supervisory experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment. Competitive pay and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of previous supervisory experience required (preferably in a warehouse or distribution center environment)
• Excellent interpersonal, team building, delegating and follow-up skills
• Ability to work with and maintain effective working relationships with other departments in the company
• Effective communication skills (oral and written)
• Competent in performing basic mathematical calculations
• Strong computer skills, with the ability to work in Windows-based systems
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment and meet established deadlines
• Available to work extended hours, especially during peak seasons

Responsibilities

• Schedule warehouse personnel daily to ensure proper manning for shipping/receiving
• Direct the day-to-day warehouse activities: shipping, receiving, maintenance, inventory control
• Oversee Storage Buy transactions, receiving errors, and product staging
• Maintain warehouse equipment and coordinate repairs with appropriate teams
• Lead warehouse safety programs per OSHA/local regulations
• Train associates on standard operating procedures
• Manage disciplinary processes to maintain productive labor climate
• Handle general employee inquiries and problem resolution
• Coordinate with other departments for efficient operations
• Complete activity reports for management
• Monitor paperwork flow from Receiving to Inventory Control Specialist
• Resolve discrepancies with shipping, invoices, packing slips, and receiver reports
• Execute Storage Buy Audit COP
• Ensure products are staged for counting and inspection
• Oversee inventory rotation and proper storage
• Perform other related duties as directed by management
