Job summary

Workforce Recruiter is assisting a client, a long-established agricultural equipment manufacturer, in finding a Warehouse Manager for their Janesville, WI operations. The role leads a team in the headquarters warehouses, guiding receiving, storage, and distribution of all materials to support safe, timely production.

You will drive continuous improvement of supply chain performance, manage inventory accuracy, and ensure compliance with regulations while coordinating with QA and maintenance

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of warehouse leadership experience.
• Experience supervising 10+ team members.
• Knowledge of warehouse management systems; SAP planned transition.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of warehouse associates in efficient operation of the client’s warehouses.
• Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with corporate objectives; monitor KPIs.
• Be accountable for controlled inventory, finished goods shipping, and warehouse duties.
• Ensure quality assurance, inventory accuracy, and timely inbound/outbound transactions; coordinate with QA.
• Perform physical cycle counts; identify root causes of inventory inaccuracies and drive corrective action.
• Ensure shipping/warehousing complies with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Oversee equipment needs and maintenance for shipping/warehousing; prepare capital expenditure proposals.
• Manage safe operation of forklifts and other equipment for special projects outside shipping.
• Meet periodic shipping volume objectives and report exceptions promptly.
• Ensure products meet company quality standards for packaging and completeness.
• Serve as go-to expert on WMS and shipping processes; perform daily system validations.
