Qualifikationen

• Solid warehouse operations experience for a manufacturing operation.
• At least 2 years of prior warehouse leadership experience.
• Knowledge of a warehouse management system; moving to SAP within a couple of years.

Aufgaben

• Supervise a team of 10 warehouse associates in the operation of the client’s warehouses.
• Develop and implement long- and short-range supply chain strategies and operating methods to achieve objectives; update weekly KPIs.
• Be accountable for all controlled inventory and finished goods shipping and warehouse duties.
• Ensure quality assurance, inventory accuracy, and timely transactions for inbound and outbound products; coordinate with QA to resolve issues.
• Control inventory accuracy via physical cycle counts and root-cause corrective actions.
• Ensure shipping/warehousing complies with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Oversee equipment requirements and maintenance for shipping/warehousing; propose CAPEX and budgets.
• Oversee safe operation of large specialty forklift for project requests outside shipping.
• Meet periodic shipping volume objectives and report exceptions.
• Ensure products meet quality standards for packaging and completeness.
• Serve as go-to expert on WMS and shipping processes; perform daily validations.
