Job summary

NFI Industries is seeking a Warehouse Operations Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse activities and staff, ensuring on-time shipping/receiving and optimal use of equipment. You will work with leaders to balance labor, supervise shifts, and drive improvements across safety and efficiency.

The role requires strong supervision, problem solving, and a commitment to safety, with the ability to adapt to changing workloads and directions in a fast-paced distribution center environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business or related field, or 1–5 years of supervisory experience.
• High School Diploma is required.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (Manhattan preferred).
• Ability to work in a fast paced, quickly changing environment.
• Ability to handle changing priorities and use good judgment in stressful situations.
• Experience with seasonal work forces is a plus, but not required.
• Knowledge of performance metrics, process improvement, and Lean/Six Sigma tools.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Knowledge of OSHA, DOT, HAZMAT, FDA regulations and willingness to certify.
• Excellent talent management and team building skills
• Excellent verbal, non-verbal, and written communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills with external clients
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements shipping and receiving work schedules to meet goals.
• Direct supervision of warehouse personnel matching skills to work requirements.
• Supervises inbound/outbound shipments to ensure timeliness and accuracy.
• Maintains efficient use of equipment and coordinates maintenance.
• Drafts and submits daily end-of-shift reports.
• Leads initiatives to improve operations and programs.
