Job summary

NFI is seeking a Warehouse Operations Lead to assist in coordinating and supervising daily warehouse activities under the direction of the Operations Supervisor. You will direct work assignments, oversee receiving, put away, picking, and loading, and provide hands-on support with material handling and forklift operations.

The role emphasizes safety, quality, and productivity goals, with engagement in process improvements and professional communication with internal and external partners.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Experience with Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to handle changing priorities and stay composed under pressure.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in records.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with shift leadership to achieve shift goals.
• Oversees and coordinates warehouse processes such as receiving, put away, picking, and loading of products.
• Directs work assignments to employees.
• Provide daily hands-on support in Material Handling and Forklift responsibilities.
• Ensure safety, quality, and productivity goals are met by the warehouse leadership team.
• Communicate problems and ideas to management; help find solutions.
