Job summary

NFI Industries is seeking a Warehouse Operations Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse activities, supervise staff, and drive production goals. This role emphasizes safety, scheduling, and efficient use of resources across inbound/outbound shipments.

You will coach personnel, manage performance, coordinate labor, and partner with leadership to meet service levels while maintaining compliance with OSHA and company policies. Night/weekend availability may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 1-5 years of supervisory experience.
• High School Diploma required.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (Manhattan preferred).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Ability to handle changing priorities and remain calm under pressure.
• Experience with seasonal work forces is a plus.
• Knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma tools is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and warehouse equipment.
• Knowledge of OSHA/DOT/HAZMAT/FDA regulations with willingness to certification.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements shipping/receiving schedules to meet goals.
• Supervises warehouse personnel and assigns work based on skills.
• Oversees inbound/outbound shipments and timely execution.
• Ensures equipment usage is efficient and coordinates maintenance.
• Reviews daily objectives and productivity to meet building goals.
• Balances labor with leadership to maintain staffing levels.
• Drafts daily end-of-shift reports and communicates results.
• Coaches, trains, and develops staff; conducts performance reviews.
• Ensures timekeeping and HR processes are followed.
• Travels to other sites as needed and participates in meetings.
• Supports safety programs and OSHA compliance; enforces policies.
