Job summary

NEFCO is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support distribution operations, including receiving, storage, inventory control, picking, packing and dispatching delivery trucks for construction materials. The role reports to the Logistics Supervisor and requires accurate ERP usage and safe warehouse practices.

Typical hours are Monday–Friday with potential overtime based on NEFCO needs. The position is non-exempt, with responsibility for maintaining inventory accuracy and operating warehouse

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to use NEFCO’s ERP software system.
• Ability to use warehouse layouts for planning purposes.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, or Outlook is a plus.
• Must have a positive, hard-working attitude and multitask effectively.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to stand on concrete floors for long periods.
• Must be able to work in varying climate conditions and lift up to 75 lbs.
• Experience operating warehouse equipment and recertification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive, store, manage inventory, pick and pack construction supply material.
• Assist in pulling and staging orders.
• Maintain bin locations and ensure warehouse safety and cleanliness.
• Assist in cycle counting for inventory accuracy.
• Operate forklift and participate in safety trainings and meetings.
• Communicate with management and branch personnel.
• Receive and verify inventory against purchase orders and ship/pack orders for delivery.
