Job summary

DSV is seeking an Operations Supervisor for the LBJ Freeway, USA location, to supervise inbound/outbound activities, staffing, and productivity targets. You will coordinate labor, space, and equipment, ensuring safe, cost-effective operations aligned with client goals.

You’ll lead a team, drive performance through coaching, and implement SOPs while maintaining strong communication with management and clients. A forklift certificate and 3 years in logistics help you excel.

Qualifications

• Must have a High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• 3 years’ experience working in a logistics/distribution/relevant environment.
• 1 year experience in a supervisory role.
• Preferred: Prior MHE certification / knowledge of basic MHE operation.
• Satisfactory completion of a forklift training program.

Responsibilities

• Conduct staff meetings to review daily/weekly work activities and plan improvements.
• Ensure KPI targets and client requirements are met.
• Manage hiring, training, and performance evaluations for warehouse staff.
• Plan daily work schedules and assign duties to warehouse staff.
• Maintain safe, efficient operations and adherence to SOPs.
