Job summary

Kenco Logistics is seeking an Operations Supervisor in Portage, MI to lead warehouse teams, ensure safety and quality, and optimize workflow. You will assign tasks, monitor inventories, supervise shipping accuracy, and coach associates to achieve efficiency and compliance with SOPs.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree and at least three years in warehousing, with supervisory experience and strong MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree from a four-year college or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of three years of experience in warehousing, distribution, or related field.
• Minimum of six months supervisory experience.
• PC and computer skills including Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Determine work volume, prepare schedules, and expedite workflow for cost effectiveness.
• Assign duties and inspect work for quality and policy adherence.
• Schedule inventories and oversee shipping accuracy of outbound orders.
• Issue instructions and maintain accountability per SOPs.
• Mentor, coach, and evaluate associates; manage timekeeping and attendance.
• Train staff on policies and Standard Works; support Safety Program.
