Job summary

Estes Forwarding Worldwide in Joliet, IL is seeking a Supervisor, Warehouse Operations to oversee day-to-day warehouse activities, lead a team of 2-20 employees, and ensure high levels of service and accuracy in receipts, shipments, and inventory.

You will coordinate with customers and carriers, manage transactions in the warehouse management system, conduct cycle counts, and drive continuous improvement while complying with company policies and TSA/CTPAT security.

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor's degree or equivalent; 2–5 years in transportation or warehousing.
• Supervisory experience 1–3 years; 2–5 years preferred.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations within assigned team; lead, direct, and manage site operations to ensure profitability and customer service.
• Coordinate with customers and carriers to schedule deliveries and shipments.
• Interface with warehouse team to ensure accurate and timely processing of orders and receipts.
• Process transactions in the Warehouse Management System to complete receipts, shipments, and inventory transfers.
• Perform cycle counts and investigate inventory discrepancies; ensure compliance with policies and SOPs.
• Drive continuous improvement in collaboration with site managers and maintain KPI focus.
