Job summary

Creative-Werks in Bartlett, IL is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee shipping, receiving, inventory accuracy and record-keeping while ensuring safety, quality and cost goals are met.

You will lead forklift operators and clerks, train staff, coordinate shifts, monitor performance, and ensure compliance with GMP, SQF, HACCP and food safety standards, with a focus on reliability and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Requires an associates degree or 5+ years warehouse leadership experience.
• Knowledge of warehouse fundamentals and WMS.
• Experience with ERP systems and SAP a plus.
• Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Experience with inventory management and cycle counting preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communications skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervises forklift lead, operators and warehouse clerks.
• Oversees daily tasks including filling and shipping orders and receiving materials.
• Produces daily summaries and status reports of department activities.
• Enforces safety, discipline, cooperation and teamwork.
• Coaches, trains, mentors and develops team members.
• Maintains annual forklift operator training after certification.
• Coordinates handoffs between shifts and communicates key information.
• Ensures compliance with client system reporting requirements.
• Schedules direct reports to meet changing demand.
• Ensures items are on hand and properly stored for production needs.
• Coordinates with other supervisors to support internal customers.
• Attends GMP, SQF, HACCP and other food safety trainings.
• Regularly inspects warehouse and facility for compliance.
• Enforces food safety rules and monitoring.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
