Job summary

Floor & Decor seeks a Warehouse Supervisor to direct daily warehouse operations at our Illinois locations. You will supervise warehouse specialists, order pickers and forklift operators, and support the Receiving Supervisor with freight scheduling based on customer and inventory needs.

Responsibilities include scheduling, safety, equipment maintenance, and cross-department coordination to ensure efficient, cost-effective shipping and receiving.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of supervisory experience in a warehouse or distribution center.
• Excellent interpersonal, team building, delegating and follow-up skills.
• Ability to work with and maintain effective relationships with other departments.
• Effective communication skills (oral and written).
• Competent in basic mathematical calculations.
• Strong computer skills in Windows-based systems.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Available to work extended hours, especially during peak seasons.

Responsibilities

• Direct the daily scheduling of warehouse personnel to ensure proper manning for shipping and receiving.
• Direct day-to-day warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, maintenance, and inventory control.
• Oversee Storage Buy transactions, receiving errors, and product staging.
• Maintain warehouse equipment and coordinate preventive maintenance and repairs.
• Enforce warehouse safety programs and OSHA compliance.
• Ensure associates follow standard operating procedures and complete activity reports.
• Coordinate with other departments to facilitate efficient warehouse operations.
• Resolve discrepancies with shipping, invoices, packing slips, and receiver reports.
• Monitor inventory flow and oversee rotation of stock.
• Perform additional duties as directed by management.
