Job summary

Sysco Northeast Rdc seeks a Warehouse Lead to support the Supervisor, determine daily workload, set priorities and direct the team to meet daily objectives while delivering superior service to Distribution Centers, customers and suppliers.

The role requires 2-5 years of warehouse experience, knowledge of import/export receiving and shipping, and familiarity with OSHA regulations; strong leadership, communication and planning skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2-5 years’ warehouse experience with import/export receiving and shipping.
• Familiar with OSHA regulations.
• Experience with MS Office and warehouse systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily, weekly, and monthly workload with Supervisors.
• Direct team to meet daily objectives and assist with exceptions.
• Unload/load shipments, put away, receive and select products.
• Communicate issues or suggestions to Supervisor.
• Train and assess new employees as necessary.
