Job summary

Sysco Northeast RDC is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead daily warehouse operations including receiving, putaway, replenishment, picking, loading and shipping to ensure continuity, productivity and excellent service. The role focuses on leadership, safety, cost control, and compliance with OSHA and company policies.

You will supervise staff, provide training, and drive process improvements while coordinating with safety and other departments to maintain high standards and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 3-5 years distribution center experience preferred.
• 3-5 years warehouse supervisory experience in a redistribution/distribution center.
• Experience with handheld RF units; voice recognition is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Direct, coordinate and monitor daily activities of warehouse workers to ensure quality and safety.
• Maintain staffing, training and performance management to meet standards.
• Implement improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs while maintaining safety.
• Enforce policies, conduct pre-shift meetings and regular safety trainings.
• Prepare reports and communicate with suppliers, customers, and internal teams.
