Job summary

Sysco is seeking a Warehouse Lead to partner with the Warehouse Supervisor to determine daily workload, set priorities, and direct a team toward meeting objectives in a fast-paced distribution center.

You will oversee unloading, put-away, replenishment, receiving, picking, and safety initiatives while maintaining strong communication with management, employees, suppliers and customers.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience: 2-5 years in warehouse operations with inventory control.
• Proficiency with warehouse systems and safety regulations is expected.
• Demonstrated leadership and ability to train and mentor staff.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily, weekly, and monthly workload with Supervisors.
• Direct team to meet daily objectives and assist with exceptions.
• Unloading/loading, put away, replenishment, receiving, picking.
• Train and assess new employees; ensure safety compliance.
• Communicate issues and suggestions to Supervisor; support problem resolution.
• Support management with safety initiatives and other duties as needed.
