Position Details

Contract Type: Intern (Fixed‑term trainee)

Contract Time: Full time (40 hours per week)

Salary: $20 per hour

Location: Piscataway, New Jersey

Note: We are unable to support H-1B lottery or transfer for this role.

About the Role

The Warehouse Operations Intern supports daily warehouse operations and works closely with Team Leaders and Operations Managers to ensure productivity, quality, safety, and service level goals are met.

• Operations Support: Assist with daily inbound, outbound, picking, packing, and shipping operations; monitor workflow and help balance labor across work areas; track productivity, accuracy, and SLA performance; and elevate operational issues such as labor gaps, system issues, or delays to Team Leaders or Managers.
• Safety & Compliance: Promote a safe work environment and ensure SOPs are followed; report safety concerns, near‑misses, and incidents promptly; and support warehouse audits and compliance checks.
• Process & Continuous Improvement: Identify process inefficiencies and suggest improvements; assist with basic data tracking (volume, productivity, error rates); participate in process improvement projects and pilot initiatives; and help communicate daily goals, priorities, and process changes to associates.
• Team Leadership (Intern Level): Support Team Leaders in coaching associates on standard work and safety practices; assist with onboarding and training of new warehouse associates; act as a point of contact for associates when Team Leaders are unavailable.

Qualifications

• Native Chinese speakers preferred.
• Graduating in 2025 or 2026 or recently completed a degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Business, or a related field.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel.
• Clear logical thinking, strong sense of responsibility, and excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Strong interest in supply chain and e‑commerce industries, with a willingness to grow in a fast‑paced and challenging environment.
