Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to manage Warehouse Operations: shipping/receiving, storing, and issuing materials, equipment and other items from stockroom, warehouse, or storage yard. Responsible for the safe receipt, storage, retrieval and timely dispatch of goods.

The role requires coordinating schedules, leading a team, maintaining inventory, and ensuring security and compliance. A forklift operating license is required; a high school diploma or GED and at least 3 years of

Responsibilities

• Acts as liaison with business leaders, department managers and other internal and external clients to forecast workload demand, project deliverables and resolve any conflicting priorities.
• Manages, plans, coordinates, inbound/outbound receiving schedules and oversees the workload, deadlines and day-to-day activities of the warehouse team to ensure effective delivery of services.
• Determines proper storage methods, identification, and stock location based on turnover, environmental factors, and physical capabilities of facilities.
• Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data storage system.
• Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
• Maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement.
• May maintain records on the use and/or damage of stock or stock handling equipment.
• May perform other duties as assigned or requested by management.
