Job summary

Coastal Logistics Group, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and shipping of materials. The role focuses on safe, efficient processes and mentoring staff in a busy logistics environment.

You will work with the Operations Manager to optimize performance, manage inventory with WMS tools, and ensure accuracy through cycle counts and audits. A forklift certificate is preferred and a strong leadership mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of supervisory experience in a warehouse or logistics setting.
• Proficiency with WMS, inventory tools, and MS Office.
• Forklift certification is preferred.
• Ability to analyze logistics processes and implement improvements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations (receiving, storing, shipping).
• Ensure efficient coordination among staff and maintain productivity.
• Monitor and enforce safety policies and regulations.
• Manage inventory, conduct cycle counts, and resolve discrepancies.
• Plan and allocate resources to meet daily needs.
• Train and mentor warehouse staff.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements with the Operations Manager.
• Conduct inspections for cleanliness, organization, and quality.
• Address warehouse-related issues and report incidents.
