Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with at least 5 years' warehouse or mailroom experience.
• Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience in a warehouse, logistics, or supply chain setting.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Advanced knowledge of inventory control, shipping/receiving, and security protocols.
• Physical ability to perform warehouse tasks and frequently lift up to 50 lbs.
• Excellent communication skills for clear team guidance and resolution of operational issues.
• Proficiency with widely used office productivity software to manage records and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate daily warehouse and mail operations for accuracy and efficiency.
• Maintain receiving, warehousing, and distribution activities, monitoring schedules and resource allocation.
• Safeguard facility operations and contents, establishing and enforcing proper security and safety practices.
• Audit incoming deliveries, approve or reject shipments following inspection, and check for prohibited items.
• Ensure precise inventory management by conducting regular physical counts and reconciling discrepancies.
• Optimize storage, organization, and retrieval systems to maximize available space and minimize risk of damage or loss.
• Supervise and coach team members, fostering an environment of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Resolve complex operational or customer issues quickly, recommending solutions and process improvements.
• Collaborate with other functional teams and support operational projects to meet business objectives.
• Maintain warehouse equipment and facilities, initiating necessary repairs or replacements.
• Implement and uphold standards for documentation, reporting, and compliance with company policies.
