Job summary

Kenco Logistics is seeking a Warehouse Lead to coach and train warehouse associates, manage daily tasks, and support a safe, efficient distribution environment. The Lead will back up the supervisor and help drive accuracy in shipping, receiving, inventory, and general warehouse functions.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED, 2 years in warehouse operations, and 6 months of supervisory experience. Forklift licensing or the ability to obtain one is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; background check and drug screen may be required.
• Minimum 2 years of warehouse/distribution operations experience; 6 months of leadership or supervisory experience or training in a distribution environment.
• Must be a licensed forklift operator or able to obtain Forklift Operator license.

Responsibilities

• Coach and train warehouse associates to fulfill daily tasks.
• Provide backup to supervisor as needed and support department goals.
• Conduct PIT (Powered Industrial Truck) and annual recertification training.
• Perform safety inspections and ensure compliance with SOPs and regulations.
• Assist in inventory counts and report variances to leadership.
• Process shipping/receiving paperwork and ensure accurate labeling and tracking.
