Job summary

Kenco Group is seeking a Warehouse Lead to coach and train warehouse associates, covering tasks from shipping/receiving to inventory control. The Lead provides backup to the supervisor and ensures safety and compliance in daily operations.

Responsibilities include PIT operation, certifications, and reporting; the role requires a background in warehouse environments and a forklift license or the ability to obtain one. This is a hands-on lead role in a dynamic distribution setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years prior warehouse/distribution operations experience.
• 6 months leadership or supervisory experience and/or training in a distribution environment.
• Must be a licensed forklift operator or able to obtain a Forklift Operator license.

Responsibilities

• Train new warehouse associates and forklift drivers and conduct PIT and annual recertification training.
• Conduct observations on safety and performance.
• Safely operate powered industrial equipment to move products/materials.
• Complete paperwork per SOPs and regulatory requirements (DOT, IATA, IMDG).
• Participate in inventory/cycle counts and report variances.
