Job summary

Kenco Group is seeking a Warehouse Lead to coach and train warehouse teams, including forklift operators, while backing up supervisory duties. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy in shipping and inventory, and daily operational readiness.

The candidate will perform PIT operations, certifications, inspections, and adapt to department needs. Prior leadership experience and a valid forklift license are preferred to support continuous improvement in a fast-paced distribution environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in warehouse/distribution operations.
• 6 months leadership or supervisory experience in a distribution environment.

Responsibilities

• Coach and train warehouse associates and forklift drivers.
• Conduct PIT and annual recertification training; observe performance and maintenance.
• Safely operate powered industrial equipment to move products and materials.
• Complete shipping/tracking paperwork per SOPs and regulatory agencies.
• Assist with inventory/cycle counts and report variances to leadership.
• Perform daily forklift safety inspections and keep the facility inspection-ready for SQFI, FDA, and customers.
• Communicate incidents to supervisor; ensure proper product rotation procedures.
• Review daily production reports and serve as backup to other warehouse roles.
