Sysco is seeking a Warehouse Lead to collaborate with the Warehouse Supervisor, determine daily workload, set priorities, and direct the team to meet daily objectives while delivering superior service at our distribution centers.

The role emphasizes leadership, teamwork and adherence to safety standards, with duties spanning unloading, receiving, inventory control and cross-functional coordination across shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2–5 years warehouse experience with order picking, receiving and inventory control.
• Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety procedures.
• Strong communication and leadership to mentor and develop teams.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily, weekly and monthly workload with Supervisors to meet objectives.
• Direct team, provide leadership and assist with daily warehouse operations.
• Train and re-train employees as necessary and ensure accuracy of duties.
• Unloading/loading shipments, put-away, replenishment and receiving.
• Manage item demand checks, communicate issues to Supervisor.
• Support safety initiatives and assist with other duties as needed.
