Job summary

Kenco Logistics is seeking a Warehouse Lead to coach and train warehouse associates while handling key duties such as shipping/receiving, inventory control, and equipment operation. The role may back up supervisors and cover multiple departments as needed.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in warehouse operations with at least 6 months in leadership and is a licensed forklift operator or willing to obtain one. The position is on-site with competitive hourly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred and be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
• Minimum 2 years prior warehouse/distribution operations experience and 6 months leadership or supervisory experience.
• Must be a licensed forklift operator or able to obtain a Forklift Operator license.

Responsibilities

• Train new warehouse associates and forklift drivers and conduct PIT and annual recertification training.
• Perform safety inspections and report incidents to supervision.
• Operate powered industrial equipment to move products and load/unload materials.
• Complete shipping paperwork and participate in inventory/cycle counts.
• Serve as backup to other warehouse roles and support department needs.
