Job summary

Kenco Logistics, LLC in Perris, CA is seeking a Warehouse Lead to coach and train warehouse staff while managing daily tasks. The Lead will back up supervisors, oversee shipping/receiving, inventory control, and material handling, and ensure operations run safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities include training, PIT certification, paperwork, cycle counts, safety inspections, and contributing to continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years warehouse/distribution operations experience.
• At least 6 months leadership or supervisory experience in a distribution environment.

Responsibilities

• Train new warehouse associates and forklift drivers; conduct PIT and annual recertification training.
• Conduct EIP, performance, and maintenance observations.
• Safely operate powered industrial equipment to move products and materials.
• Complete paperwork per SOPs and regulatory agencies (DOT, IATA, IMDG).
• Participate in inventory/cycle counts and report variances to leadership.
• Perform daily safety inspections on forklift trucks and keep the facility inspection-ready for SQFI, FDA, and customers.
• Ensure product rotation procedures are followed and report incidents to supervision.
• Review daily production reports and provide back-up coverage to other warehouse roles.
