Job summary

Kenco Logistics is seeking a Warehouse Lead in Perris, CA to coach and train warehouse teams, manage daily tasks, and back up the supervisor as needed. The role covers shipping, receiving, inventory control, and general warehouse duties with emphasis on safety and process discipline.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of warehouse experience, 6 months in a supervisory role, and a valid forklift license or ability to obtain one. Expected focus on safety audits and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred and be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
• Minimum 2 years prior warehouse/distribution operations experience and 6 months leadership or supervisory experience.
• Must be a licensed forklift operator or able to obtain a Forklift Operator license.

Responsibilities

• Coach and train warehouse associates to fulfill daily tasks and provide backup to supervisor.
• Train forklift drivers and conduct PIT and annual recertification.
• Inspect safety practices and ensure compliance with DOT, IATA, IMDG, and other regulations.
• Assist with shipping/receiving, inventory control, and general warehouse functions as needed.
• Review daily production reports and communicate variances to leadership.
