Job summary

Kenco Logistics is seeking a Warehouse Lead to coach and supervise warehouse associates, overseeing daily tasks across shipping, receiving, inventory control and material handling. You’ll drive operational excellence while maintaining safety and quality in a fast-paced distribution environment.

Responsibilities include leading training for new staff and forklift operators, conducting PIT certifications, performing inspections, and backing up the supervisor as needed to keep the operation running

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; pass background check and drug screen.
• At least 2 years warehouse/distribution operations experience and 6 months leadership experience.
• Must be a licensed forklift operator or able to obtain forklift license.

Responsibilities

• Train new warehouse associates and forklift drivers; conduct PIT training and recertifications.
• Conduct performance and maintenance observations.
• Safely operate equipment to move products for distribution.
• Complete shipping documents and regulatory paperwork.
• Inventory/cycle counts and report variances; support supervisor as needed.
