Job summary

Kenco Group in Perris, CA is seeking a Warehouse Lead to coach and train warehouse associates across shipping/receiving, inventory control, and general warehouse functions. The Lead may cover multiple roles and will back up the supervisor as needed.

You will conduct PIT/recertification training, perform safety inspections, and ensure compliance with SQFI and FDA requirements while maintaining efficient operations. Forklift certification is required or obtainable.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; background check and drug screen.
• At least 2 years of warehouse/distribution operations experience and 6 months of supervisory experience or training.
• Licensed forklift operator or able to obtain license.

Responsibilities

• Train new warehouse associates and forklift drivers and conduct PIT and annual recertification training.
• Conduct EIP, performance, and maintenance observations.
• Safely operate powered industrial equipment to move products or materials for distribution.
• Complete paperwork per SOPs and regulatory agencies (DOT, IATA, IMDG).
• Participate in inventory/cycle counts and report variances.
• Perform daily safety inspections on forklift trucks.
• Ensure facility is inspection ready for SQFI, FDA, and customers.
• Communicate and report incidents to supervisor.
• Ensure product rotation procedures are followed.
• Review and analyze daily production reports.
• Serve as backup to other warehouse roles as needed.
• Other duties as assigned by department.
